Requesting devices from an MSP

Use this page when you are procuring physical appliances or managed rollouts through a USDN-authorized partner. If you are registering cloud or on-prem devices in the portal (site selection, bootstrap tokens, or post-shipment visibility), start with Managing devices and Registering a device in the portal.


Device requesting process

To ensure a smooth and efficient process for obtaining devices, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Request Devices from USDN Authorized MSPs:

    • Contact one of the USDN authorized Managed Service Providers (MSPs) such as Presidio.
    • Provide the necessary details and specifications for the devices you require.
  2. Preconfiguration and Shipping:

    • Once your request is received, our MSP will handle the preconfiguration of the devices according to your specifications.
    • The preconfigured devices will then be shipped directly to your site.
  3. Unboxing and Internet Connection:

    • Upon receiving the devices, carefully unbox them.
    • Connect the devices to the internet to complete the setup process.
