Managing sites
This guide covers the Sites list in the USDN portal, opening a site detail page, updating site information, and deleting a site.
Sites list
Open Sites from the main navigation. You see every site your organization can access, with toolbar controls for:
- Search — filter by text across site fields.
- Filter by type — limit to a site type (for example cloud vs branch).
- Clear filters — reset search and type when filters are active.
- List / grid view — switch how rows are displayed.
- Column picker (list view) — choose which columns are visible.
- Create New Site — opens the site creation flow.

The table shows columns such as name, type, device count, location, and dates depending on your column settings. Click a row (or a card in grid view) to open that site’s detail page—not only the site name cell.
Site detail page
The detail page shows:
- Summary in the left column: map (when coordinates exist), location string, description, contact email/phone, type, created/updated timestamps.
- Edit Site and Delete Site actions at the bottom of that column.
- Tabs on the right: Devices, Network (segments), and Location (larger map when coordinates exist).

Update a site
- Open the site from the Sites list.
- Click Edit Site in the left column.
- In the Edit Site dialog, change the fields you need (same general field set as creation: type, name, address or cloud region, contacts, and so on).
- Click Update Site to save, or Cancel to close without saving.

Changes apply immediately after a successful save; the detail view refreshes from the server.
Delete a site
Deleting a site is permanent for that site record and is intended only when the location is fully decommissioned from USDN. Related resources (devices, tunnels, and so on) are subject to your organization’s data and lifecycle rules—confirm with your administrator before deleting production sites.
- Open the site from the Sites list.
- Click Delete Site in the left column (red text button).
- Read the confirmation: you must acknowledge that the action cannot be undone.
- Click Delete to confirm, or Cancel to keep the site.

There is also an Actions (⋯) menu on each list row with menu items such as Edit and Delete. Those shortcuts only run when the list is wired to handlers in your deployment; the supported path for edit and delete in the current portal is the site detail page as described above.
