USDN supports YubiKey as an enhanced security option for two-factor authentication. YubiKey provides hardware-based authentication that cannot be cloned, offering the highest level of security for your account.
What is YubiKey?
YubiKey is a hardware security key that:
- Provides strong two-factor authentication
- Cannot be cloned or compromised remotely
- Works across multiple devices and platforms

Prerequisites
Before setting up YubiKey:
- Purchase a compatible YubiKey
- Install any required drivers
- Have access to your USDN account
- Backup authentication method ready
Setup Process
1. Initial Configuration
- Log into your USDN account
- Navigate to Security Settings
- Select "Configure YubiKey"
- Choose "Add New YubiKey"
2. Register Your YubiKey
- Insert YubiKey into USB port
- Click "Begin Registration"
- When prompted, touch the YubiKey button
- Name your YubiKey for identification
- Verify registration success
3. Test Authentication
- Log out of your account
- Attempt to log back in
- Insert YubiKey when prompted
- Touch the button to authenticate
- Verify successful login

- Enter username and password

- Touch the YubiKey button
- Complete login
